About Karma Samaj Foundation
Karma Samaj Foundation is a registered public charitable trust based in Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh. It is a free platform connecting willing hearts with genuine needs - directly, transparently, and without any hand in between. It operates four verticals: Connect & Help, Student Support, Blood Donation, and Organs Donation.
Karma Samaj Foundation was created on 7 August 2025 and registered on 6 May, 2026 at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882.
The founder's father — a retired government officer — wanted to donate some amount but he was not sure, where to do. His concern was that donations get misused or diluted before reaching the real needy. That question inspired the founder to build a platform where giving is direct, transparent, and trustworthy. Karma Samaj Foundation is the answer to that question. Detailed story at http://karmasamaj.com/about/founders-message
The Foundation has four trustees: Sanjay Kumar Agarwal (Managing Trustee & Founder), Priti Agarwal, Taru Agarwal, and Harshi Agarwal. The Managing Trustee is responsible for overall strategy, operations, and external partnerships. Details at http://karmasamaj.com/about/board-of-trustees
No. Karma Samaj Foundation is an independent, registered public charitable trust. It is not affiliated with any government body, political party, or religious organisation.
The founder, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, is President of Lions Club Delhi Veg till June 30, 2026 and Zone Chairperson from July 1, 2026, having 5 clubs in his zone across Delhi NCR. The Lions Club network is well known worldwide for its service activities and it all supportive, specially the home club Lions Club Delhi Veg.
KSF's physical activities — blood donation camps and awareness drives — are currently focused on Delhi NCR. However, the Connect & Help and Student Support platforms are accessible across India. KSF is open to organise Blood Donation camps across India on invitation.
KSF's operational costs like administrative expenses, organising camps, awareness materials, direct charity works, coordination etc are funded through voluntary donations to its operational fund (Support Us Section at karmasamaj.com/support-us refers), camp sponsorships, and CSR partnerships. KSF does not charge anything for Connect & Help transactions, which are direct.
KSF's vision is a world where no willing heart ever asks 'कहाँ करें?' - because the answer is always within reach, always transparent, and always free. Long term, KSF aims to expand pan-India, launch an Android app, and build a national network of donors, volunteers and hospital/ blood bank partners. Details at karmasamaj.com/about/vision-mission
Connect & Help
Connect & Help is a direct giving platform where donors find the needs posted by people in need, and fulfil them directly. No money passes through KSF. The donor gives directly to the person in need after satisfying himself about the genuiness of the person and his need, whether in cash, UPI, or by purchasing an item. Details at karmasamaj.com/connect-and-help/what-is-connect-and-help
When a donor expresses interest in supporting a need, the needy person receives a system-generated OTP. Once the donor fulfils the need, they ask the recipient for the OTP and enter it in the system. This confirms the transaction, marks the need as fulfilled so that it is no more visible at the portal, and allows KSF to record the impact. The donor receives an appreciation certificate. Details at karmasamaj.com/connect-and-help/how-it-works
No. KSF does not verify the authenticity of needs posted as we have no means to verify genineness of every need posted. Anyone can post a genuine need. Donors are strongly advised to do due diligence before supporting - speak with the person, ask questions, and satisfy themselves before giving. KSF accepts no liability for fraudulent needs. The platform is built on community trust, not institutional verification.
No. As Connect & Help is a direct giving facility, your money goes directly to the person in need, not to KSF. Since 80G applies only to donations made to approved organisations, direct giving to individuals does not qualify. KSF will never issue a false 80G receipt for these transactions. If 80G benefit is important, you can donate to KSF's operational fund under Support Us.
A person can have up to 5 active needs posted at any given time on the platform.
Yes. Donors can choose to purchase an item and deliver it directly. The mode of giving is agreed between the donor and recipient, whether cash, UPI, bank transfer, or in-kind purchase. KSF does not facilitate the delivery, it only makes the connection. Details at karmasamaj.com/connect-and-help/how-it-works
The interaction is voluntary at every stage. After all, he needs to be fully satisfied before he fulfils any need. A donor may withdraw at any point before the giving is completed without any obligation. The need remains active and visible to other donors if not fulfilled.
Yes. The Browse Needs page is accessible to all visitors. No registration is required to browse. Registration is required only when you wish to express interest in helping a specific need. You can browse needs now at karmasamaj.com/connect-and-help/browse-needs
KSF urges all donors to conduct due diligence before giving. If you encounter a suspected fraudulent need, report it immediately at info@karmasamaj.com. KSF reviews all fraud reports as soon as possible and removes the post, if found to be false. KSF has no means to prevent a fraudster to post same need in another name. KSF accepts no liability for losses arising from fraudulent needs met without proper due diligence before helping.
A donor living outside India (NRI) can support a need within India, giving directly to the recipient via international transfer or by asking a family member in India to fulfil the need on their behalf. KSF does not facilitate cross-border transactions. Donors are responsible for complying with FEMA and applicable laws. We do not come into the picture in any ways.
No. Posting a need is completely free. Registering as a donor is completely free. KSF charges nothing at any stage.
Students Support
Student Support Vertical is a place where students post their educational needs, like books, fees, devices, coaching, uniforms, and supporters find and fulfil them directly. It works on the same direct-giving principle as Connect & Help. KSF does not touch the money.
Any student can post a need. Students below 18 must have a parent or guardian post on their behalf. The need must be directly related to education.
Eligible categories include: Books & Study Material, School/College Fees, Devices & Internet, Coaching & Tuition, Uniforms & Supplies, and other educational needs. Personal non-educational items and commercial purposes are not eligible.
No. As with Connect & Help, student support is direct giving from supporter to student — not to KSF. 80G applies only to donations made to approved organisations. KSF will never issue a false 80G receipt for these transactions.
KSF has no means to verify genuiness of the need or the person posting the need. Misuse can be prevented only by exercising due diligence at the time of supporting. Donor has to satisfy himself whether the need is genuine. He can ask the needy student any supportive document like student ID or fee receipt to build donor confidence. All interactions are between the student/guardian and the supporter. KSF accepts no responsibility of misuse.
Yes. This is actually recommended, especially for books, devices, or uniforms. The supporter can purchase the item online and ship it to the student's address, or purchase locally and deliver. This ensures the support reaches its intended purpose directly. Whatever arrangement suits donor & needy both is welcome. KSF has no role or say in it.
Organ Donation
You can donate: Heart, both Lungs, both Kidneys, Liver, Pancreas, Intestines, Corneas, Bone & Tissue, Heart Valves, and Skin. You may choose to donate all or select specific organs. Any pledge is a profound act of generosity. Take the pledge - http://karmasamaj.com/donors-world/organ-donation/take-the-pledge
Yes. In India, the final decision at the time of death rests with the family, even if a pledge has been made. This is why KSF strongly encourages every pledger to have an open conversation with their family at the time of pledge or at least after pledging. A pledge without a family conversation is merely a wish. A pledge with family consent is a plan.
All major religions practised in India — Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, and Buddhism — either explicitly support or do not prohibit voluntary organ donation. Many religious leaders actively encourage it as an act of supreme charity. We recommend consulting your personal religious leader if you have specific concerns. Details at karmasamaj.com/donors-world/organ-donation/myths-vs-facts
Yes. Your pledge is voluntary and revocable at any time. Contact KSF with your pledge reference number and we will take it further. Please also inform your family if you withdraw. There is a second aspect to it as well. In face, there is practically no need to withdraw your consent if you don't wish to donate organs. The most practical way is to just tell your family and they will not proceed. Still, in case, you wish to formally withdraw, you are welcome to connect with us.
There is no fixed age limit for pledging. You must be 18 or above to pledge independently. Medical suitability is assessed at the time of death, not at the time of pledging. Elderly individuals have successfully donated organs. Even if some organs are not suitable, others may be. Details at karmasamaj.com/donors-world/organ-donation/faqs
Absolutely not. This is a common myth. The medical team treating you is legally and professionally obligated to do everything possible to save your life, regardless of donor status. Organ donation is only considered after all life-saving efforts are exhausted and death is officially declared by a separate team.
No. Registering as an organ donor has no effect on any life, health, or general insurance policy.
Blood Donation
You can donate if: aged 18–65 years, weight above 45 kg, feeling healthy with no fever, last donation was 90+ days ago, and blood pressure is normal. A free health screening at every camp checks pulse, temperature, BP, and haemoglobin before donation. More details at karmasamaj.com/donors-world/blood-donation/eligibility
You can donate whole blood once every 90 days (3 months). Regular donation is encouraged — it saves more lives and has documented health benefits for the donor. More details at karmasamaj.com/donors-world/blood-donation/eligibility
Yes. Regular blood donors are less likely to suffer a heart attack and develop cardiovascular disease. Donation removes 225–250 mg of excess iron, protecting the heart. Every donation includes a free health screening. (Source: eRaktKosh — Ministry of Health & Family Welfare)
The actual donation takes 8–10 minutes. Including registration, health screening, and post-donation rest — plan for approximately 30–45 minutes total.
Delhi NCR alone faces a shortage of 1,00,000 units of blood every year. (Source: eRaktKosh — Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India). Donated blood has a shelf life of only 35–42 days, creating a constant need for fresh donations.
eRaktKosh is the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare's national blood services platform — providing real-time blood availability, blood bank directories, and camp schedules. KSF has no connection with e-Raktkosh. We have provided useful links of this Government website for the benefit of visitors at our portal. As it is Government's website, it is quite obvious that it contains much more and deep information and shows more updated information regarding availability of blood in hospitals & blood banks. KSF is the human connection — e-RaktKosh portal is the official national database.
Visit karmasamaj.com/donors-world/blood-donation/organise-a-camp and fill the camp request form. KSF will arrange hospital/ blood bank partnership, medical team, equipment, donor registration, and certificates. You just need to provide the venue and help spread the word and ensure sufficient number of registrations of the willing blood donors. Minimum 3 weeks prior information is preferred.
Carry a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving Licence). Have a light meal before coming. Wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that roll up easily. You will receive light refreshments at the camp.
You should wait 6 months after a tattoo or piercing before donating. This is a temporary deferral — you can donate after the waiting period.

Benefit u/s 80G
Benefits u/s 80G is available only upto a cash donation of Rs. 2,000. Cash donations above ₹2,000 are NOT eligible for 80G deduction under Section 80G(5D) of the Income Tax Act, regardless of the organisation's 80G status. For 80G benefit on amounts above ₹2,000 — use UPI, card, NEFT, or cheque. karmasamaj.com/support-us/donate-funds
Your PAN is required for: (1) Filing Form 10BD - the annual donation statement KSF must file with the Income Tax Department, and (2) Generating Form 10BE — your official 80G certificate. Without PAN, you will find it difficult to link your donation with ITR for deduction claims. It is mandatory for donations above ₹500.
No. These are direct giving transactions between donor to the needy, without passing through KSF. Section 80G requires a donation to be made to an approved organisation. Direct giving to individuals does not qualify under any circumstances. KSF will never issue any fake 80G receipt for these transactions.

Yes. Hospital and blood bank partnerships are the medical backbone of every KSF camp. KSF brings the community and volunteers, and the hospital provides the medical team, equipment, and blood bank storage. Write to us at karmasamajfoundation@gmail.com to take it further.
Platform & Technical
You can browse needs and information without an account. However, you will need to create an account (Sign Up) to post a need, express interest in helping, register as a blood donor, take the organ pledge, or volunteer. Account creation is free, always.
A mobile app is in development. Currently, the website karmasamaj.com is fully mobile-responsive and works on all smartphones as good as an app. The app launch will be announced on the website and social media. All Sign-Ups so far will be notifed.
Yes. Log into your account and update your profile at any time - availability status, contact details, blood group confirmation. For organ pledge modifications, please contact at karmasamajfoundation@gmail.com with your pledge reference number.
Common Concern
KSF has no means to verify the needs posted and we are fully honest & transparent about this. A donor needs to do due diligence before helping. He can speak with the needy person, ask for documentation, ask questions. Give only when your heart and judgement both say yes. This is a platform of community trust. The OTP confirmation creates a digital record of the transaction.
You may withdraw at any point before the giving is completed, without any obligation to explain. Simply do not proceed. The need remains visible to other donors.
A small minority of donors feel momentarily lightheaded, which is why post-donation rest, fluids, and refreshments are provided at every camp. The body replenishes fluids within 24-48 hours. Most donors resume normal activity the same day. Come with a light meal and stay for 15 minutes after donation.
Organ retrieval in India is strictly regulated under the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act (THOA) 1994. No organ can be retrieved without family consent at the time of death and declaration of brain death by an independent medical team. Your pledge is a statement of wish - not an automatic instruction. karmasamaj.com/donors-world/organ-donation/myths-vs-facts
Anyone with a genuine need can post. There is no financial threshold. The platform is for genuine, specific needs that a person cannot fulfil alone at that moment. Honesty in posting is essential. Needs are visible publicly - the community acts as a natural check. karmasamaj.com/connect-and-help/post-your-need
KSF publishes quarterly impact updates and annual audited accounts. Every camp and drive funded by KSF is documented with photographs, attendance records, and impact numbers. Donors who give significant amounts receive personal impact reports. Full transparency is a founding principle of KSF. karmasamaj.com/stories-of-hope/annual-reports
