Connect & Help
Connect & Help is a direct giving platform where donors find the needs posted by people in need, and fulfil them directly. No money passes through KSF. The donor gives directly to the person in need after satisfying himself about the genuiness of the person and his need, whether in cash, UPI, or by purchasing an item. When a donor expresses interest in supporting a need, the needy person receives a system-generated OTP. Once the donor fulfils the need, they ask the recipient for the OTP and enter it in the system. This confirms the transaction, marks the need as fulfilled so that it is no more visible at the portal, and allows KSF to record the impact. The donor receives an appreciation certificate. No. KSF does not verify the authenticity of needs posted as we have no means to verify genineness of every need posted. Anyone can post a genuine need. Donors are strongly advised to do due diligence before supporting - speak with the person, ask questions, and satisfy themselves before giving. KSF accepts no liability for fraudulent needs. The platform is built on community trust, not institutional verification.
No. As Connect & Help is a direct giving facility, your money goes directly to the person in need, not to KSF. Since 80G applies only to donations made to approved organisations, direct giving to individuals does not qualify. KSF will never issue a false 80G receipt for these transactions. If 80G benefit is important, you can donate to KSF's operational fund under Support Us.
A person can have up to 5 active needs posted at any given time on the platform.
Yes. Donors can choose to purchase an item and deliver it directly. The mode of giving is agreed between the donor and recipient, whether cash, UPI, bank transfer, or in-kind purchase. KSF does not facilitate the delivery, it only makes the connection. Details at karmasamaj.com/connect-and-help/how-it-works
The interaction is voluntary at every stage. After all, he needs to be fully satisfied before he fulfils any need. A donor may withdraw at any point before the giving is completed without any obligation. The need remains active and visible to other donors if not fulfilled.

KSF urges all donors to conduct due diligence before giving. If you encounter a suspected fraudulent need, report it immediately at info@karmasamaj.com. KSF reviews all fraud reports as soon as possible and removes the post, if found to be false. KSF has no means to prevent a fraudster to post same need in another name. KSF accepts no liability for losses arising from fraudulent needs met without proper due diligence before helping.
A donor living outside India (NRI) can support a need within India, giving directly to the recipient via international transfer or by asking a family member in India to fulfil the need on their behalf. KSF does not facilitate cross-border transactions. Donors are responsible for complying with FEMA and applicable laws. We do not come into the picture in any ways.
